Neuromuscular therapy (NMT) applies pressure to specific points in the muscles called trigger points in order to release tension and pain. Our NMT therapists work with acute and chronic pain after injuries as well as pre and post surgeries.

NMT can be used to treat a variety of conditions including chronic pain, muscle spasms, low back sciatic pain and headaches. It also improves range of motion, reduces inflammation and improves circulation.

Our NMT therapists are experts in muscular anatomy and physiology including referred patterns for muscles in all regions of the body. They are trained to identify trigger points by reviewing specific pain patterns within taut bands of muscle. Tension is released with sustained pressure on the trigger points.
