Frequently Asked Questions

First appointment: What you should bring with you
Ideally, you should come wearing comfortable clothing. Arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to fill out a short health form. Water is available at the studio but it is a good idea to bring a water bottle with you due to the necessity to hydrate after a massage.
Does your Health Insurance cover Payment of costs: We are happy to assist you
This is a question for your health insurance company. Some companies will reimburse their members for their massage therapy services. While Nurturing Touch Massage & Acupuncture does not bill insurance companies directly, we are more than happy to provide you with a receipt that you can submit to your health insurance for reimbursement.
Therapy sessions: Coordinated with your schedule
Appointments can be scheduled with the different therapists based on your individual needs. Every appointment is catered specifically to you. If you have questions about specific needs, please call our office at (916) 492-0725 for clarification.

What our clients are saying about us
“I was looking for a massage place with a peaceful ambiance and this business is perfect. It’s so beautifully decorated, plays calming music, the staff is pleasant and most importantly the Swedish massage I had was just what I needed. The MT was phenomenal and really applied the medium pressure I was looking for. I felt so relaxed and loosened up after. I will be back.”
