What is Arvigo® Therapy?

The Arvigo® Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy (ATMAT) for the reproductive and digestive system is an external, noninvasive massage using only the hands to re-position reproductive organs and improve blood flow to digestive organs.

This ancient Maya healing technique eliminates the primary cause of reproductive and digestive complaints in both men and women, the congested pelvis and abdomen, thereby preventing the progression of symptoms to chronic disease. Modern medicine tends to focus on relieving the symptoms whereas ATMAT addresses the root cause of the disease.

Arvigo Therapy Pricing

Initial Consultation & Treatment
90 Min $175

This service is for clients who have issues with digestion, menstrual cycle regulation (PMS, heavy periods, painful periods, etc.) and infertility. Please note that you should not receive abdominal massage if you are less than 12 weeks pregnant; if you have an IUD implanted; active infection; are currently on heavy menstruating days or if you are past ovulation during a month that you are trying to conceive. If you are TTC please schedule this appointment on a day that you are past menstruation but before ovulation.

This service includes approx. 30 minutes of consultation and approx. 60 minutes of Arvigo work. The Arvigo work may include abdominal, hip, sacral and/or coccygeal work. The Arvigo practitioner will also go over how to do some of the Arvigo abdominal techniques on yourself at home. The Arvigo practitioner will customize the treatment to what will be most effective for each individual client.

30 Minute Arvigo Follow-up (Digestive Only)
Single Session – $75
5 Pack – $350

This is a follow-up service for clients who have issues with digestion and have already had an initial Arvigo appointment. Clients who are seeking Arvigo therapy for menstrual cycle regulation (PMS, heavy periods, painful periods, etc.) and infertility need to book a 60-minute follow-up so there is adequate time to do all of the techniques related to these ailments. Please note that you should not receive abdominal massage if you are less than 12 weeks pregnant; if you have an IUD implanted; active infection; are currently on heavy menstruating days or if you are past ovulation during a month that you are trying to conceive. If you are TTC please schedule this appointment on a day that you are past menstruation but before ovulation.

This service includes 30 minutes of abdominal massage for digestive concerns only.

60 Minute Arvigo Follow-Up (Fertility & Gynecology)
Single Session – $125

This service is for clients who want to address issues with menstrual cycle regulation (PMS, heavy periods, painful periods, etc.) and infertility. This appointment is for clients who want to incorporate Arvigo therapy with body massage. This service typically includes 60 minutes of Arvigo work and 30 minutes of body massage but can be adjusted to meet clients’ needs. Please discuss your areas of focus with your Arvigo practitioner.

What to expect in your first Arvigo® session:

Typically, unless an initial appointment is made last minute, you will have received and filled out your health history intake form prior to arriving at your appointment. This allows for your Arvigo® practitioner to go through your health history in a professional and comfortable manner. It is important to us that you feel all your questions are being answered and that we are fully aware of your specific needs.

Next, your Arvigo® Practitioner will review the massage strokes that will be applied and the location of most of the work (above the pubic bone and below the diaphragm; also the sacrum, coccyx and glutes). The session will start with the client supine (face up) on the table, which is more comfortable for the majority of people. This therapy is non-invasive and all posterior (face down) work on the sacrum, coccyx and glutes will be done over the sheet.

After the health history intake, the explanation of massage, and the massage itself are completed, you will be taught some self-care massage to do at home to keep your body working to heal itself. Your Arvigo® Practitioner will advise if other herbals or products are recommended for your specific needs and advise you about continued treatment.
