Amy Dininger

amy_bio_imageI’m Amy Dininger, and I’ve been a Certified Massage Therapist since 2006. My goal is to help clients find the cause of their aches and pains; relieve their tension; and give them tools, tips, and stretches for at-home body care between their massage appointments.

I attended the Body Institute for my initial massage certification and continue to attend a few other local schools for continuing education. I love to seek knowledge; specifically in the fields of massage and business. I have over 600 hours of certified massage classroom hours. I also received my Bachelors degree in Business Administration with honors from William Jessup University in May, 2012. I’m currently studying Traditional Chinese Medicine to become an Acupuncturist.

Business and massage are both passions of mine. Outside of work, I also have a strong love for travel.

Erin Mahoney

My name is Erin Mahoney. I have always been sensitive to the energies around me. This sensitivity led me to Asia, where I became curious about Thai massage. I completed a course in Thai massage at the Old Medicine Hospital in 2012. I loved it so much that upon returning to the United States, I decided to pursue massage therapy as a career and enrolled at the Bodhi Tree Center for the Healing Arts. Since graduating, I have worked with thousands of individuals to bring the body and mind into a state of balance.

The work I do is a fusion — largely influenced by the Asian modalities as well as deep tissue structural bodywork. Each session is customized to the individual. I always try to connect with the client’s energy field and let that direct my work. The most important thing in a session is that you, the client, feel comfortable and relaxed.

When I am not working, I like to spend time with my husband and fluffy animals. I enjoy experimenting in the kitchen, practicing yoga, and going on outdoor adventures.

Mori

My name is Mori and I moved to California from Israel with my family a few months ago. Before moving from Israel, I received both a massage certification and a Masters degree in Chinese Medicine which I have used in combination to help many clients. I see healing as an art and science interweaving within each other. The ability to use touch is the very basic form of healing we all need. I feel honored that I have been given the opportunity to touch so many people’s lives through Massage Therapy and Chinese Medicine.

Since 2004 I have enjoyed my profession of healing others through touch. I see each client is a unique person with unique needs. Part of my practice is to make every healing experience different and fresh so that clients can feel that their massage is customized to them. I have found that this approach gives the best results.

Some of my experience includes helping athletes be able to go back into competitions and women to find relief from their fibromyalgia pains. I have also worked within large health centers in Israel with chronic pain patients as well as Oncology patients.

My specialties are Chinese Massage (TuiNa), Acupressure, Cupping and special modality of electro-therapy that I have spent years developing. I also love giving Deep Tissue, Swedish, and Prenatal massages.

Nichelle Greenlee

nichelleHi, my name is Nichelle Greenlee. I have been in the medical field since I was 16. I have worked in a major local hospital, as well as for two different specialist and taking care of elderly living with Alzheimer disease. I love to take care of people.

Over the past 5 years I have been practicing my own healing through yoga. It has reassured me of the importance of taking care of your body as well as the mind. Too often we forget that and let stress overwhelm us. This is also why I am so passionate about showing others new ways to take care of themselves.

Through all my years of experience, I have found myself at Nurturing Touch Massage where I can once again help people achieve relief and comfort. By going out into the community to market our business, I am able to seek out others in need. My goal here is to help clients get the right services they need for what is ailing them.

Phyliss

My name is Phyliss and I have been a Massage Therapist since 2003. I was originally introduced to massage therapy through my sister-in-law who was working as a Massage Therapist at the time. I fell in love with massage and I completed my initial course of 500 hours. My love of learning about massage therapy took me to more continuing education classes in therapies such as Aromatherapy, Myofascial Release, Hot Stone, Prenatal Massage, Reflexology, and Thai Massage. In the past I have worked at spas, Chiropractic offices, as well as within my own business. I also love to do on-site chair massage for corporate events.
Over the past 14 years I have taken many hours of education so that I can provide the best massage for my clients; treating athletes, moms, desk workers, and more. My hours of education now total 1700 hours. I am so thankful for everything I have learned because it helps to make me the best massage therapist for my clients; providing a massage that is customized to each person’s body. If you’re looking for a highly skilled therapist who can work out the kinks, come on in to Nurturing Touch and see me for your massage.

David

My name is David and I have been Certified as a Massage Therapist for 2 years but my first experience providing massage was at a young age working on my grandparents. I was fascinated by the relief they would experience from me just touching and kneading their feet and shoulders. In 2011 I was living in Portland, Oregon training and pursuing a career in Mixed Martial Arts. I used to work on injuries for my coach and other athletes in the gym on a regular basis just to help with muscle relief and recovery. I experienced healing touch for myself from a Massage Therapist at a tournament I was injured in. That moment, along with encouragement from my MMA coach is what led me to getting licensed through an official Massage Therapy school, so I could provide professional massage to more people. I received 900 hours of training in various modalities but mainly enjoy doing Swedish, Deep Tissue and Sports Massage.

As a lifelong athlete, I have gained an innate knowledge of the aches that most commonly plague an athlete or active person. Many of my techniques and approaches have been tested on training partners or myself. While I enjoy every aspect of Massage Therapy, my true passion is in the rehabilitative and medical aspect of it, bringing relief to those with chronic injuries as well as acute issues.

I love Massage Therapy because it gives me a daily dose of instant gratification through helping others. Few things feel better than having someone come to you in pain and leave feeling relief.

“She was friendly and professional, but best of all, she listened to my requests and soreness issues and delivered a fantastic massage!"
